Questions
Does the custom cursor show on phones and tablets? No, by default — touch devices auto-hide the custom cursor since there's no persistent pointer to track. See Accessibility & Reduced Motion.
What happens to my Pro settings if my license expires? Nothing is deleted. They stay in the database dormant and reappear exactly as configured once your license is active again. See Uninstalling & Data.
Does deactivating the plugin delete my settings? No — only fully deleting the free plugin removes settings. Deactivation is always safe. See Uninstalling & Data.
Will Ultimate Cursor conflict with my caching plugin? WP Rocket, LiteSpeed, Autoptimize, and W3 Total Cache are already handled automatically. See Plugin Conflicts.
Does Ultimate Cursor work with Elementor, Gutenberg, WPBakery, or Divi? There's a legacy per-widget integration for Elementor only (soft-deprecated, not the main workflow) — see Elementor Integration. There is no Gutenberg block, WPBakery, or Divi integration.
Are there shortcodes I can use to place a cursor manually? No — Ultimate Cursor has no shortcodes or Gutenberg blocks. Cursors and backgrounds are configured once in the dashboard and apply by scope rule, not per-post placement. See Hooks & Filters Reference.
How many cursor configurations can I have on the free plan? One. Multiple configurations require Pro. See Multiple Configurations.
Does the cursor respect prefers-reduced-motion?
Yes, and it's on by default even if you never touch the setting. See Accessibility & Reduced Motion.
I saved a setting and it didn't stick — why? The most common cause is a field name that isn't on the allowlist, or a stale cached page. See Common Issues.
Does this work on a multisite install? Yes — settings and uninstall cleanup are both handled per-site across the network. See Uninstalling & Data.
Can I target a cursor to just one page, or one element? Yes, on Pro — by specific page, CSS selector, or HTML element. See Targeting & Conditional Logic and Element Targeting.
Where do I see pricing and plans? On the Ultimate Cursor pricing page — not duplicated in these docs.
