Plugin Conflicts

Which cache/optimization plugins are already handled automatically, and what to check for Elementor version conflicts.

By the end of this page, you'll know which conflicts Ultimate Cursor already handles for you, and how to isolate a real one.

Applies to Ultimate Cursor 2.3.1+.

Cache and optimization plugins

Ultimate Cursor's scripts are automatically excluded from WP Rocket, LiteSpeed Cache, Autoptimize, and W3 Total Cache's JS-combining/deferring/minifying features — you don't need to manually add exclusion rules for these four. If you're on a different optimization plugin and see the cursor break after enabling JS combining/minifying, exclude Ultimate Cursor's script from that feature manually.

Elementor version requirement

The legacy Elementor Integration requires Elementor 3.0.0 or higher. On older Elementor versions, those per-widget controls simply don't register — this doesn't affect the main Ultimate Cursor dashboard, which has no Elementor dependency at all.

General conflict checklist

  1. Deactivate all other plugins except Ultimate Cursor and reload — if the issue disappears, reactivate others one at a time to find the conflicting one.
  2. Switch to a default WordPress theme temporarily to rule out a theme-level JS/CSS conflict.
  3. Check the browser console for JavaScript errors — a broken script elsewhere on the page can prevent Ultimate Cursor's script from initializing.
