The best 360° virtual tour plugin for WordPress depends on tour size and budget. Photo Sphere Viewer is the only popular option with unlimited free scenes, free gyroscope viewing and a built-in AR 3D viewer, and its Pro version starts at $19.99 a year. WPVR offers Pro floor plans. Panorama by bPlugins suits WooCommerce. iPanorama 360 Lite allows only one tour.
Disclosure: WPXERO makes Photo Sphere Viewer; this comparison covers version 2.4.0. Everything said here about the other plugins comes from their own WordPress.org readmes and pricing pages, linked in each section, as of October 25, 2026. Plugins change, so check those pages before you buy.
How we compared them
We looked at the four virtual tour plugins that come up most often in WordPress.org searches for "360 panorama" and "virtual tour", and compared what matters when you choose one:
- Free limits — how many scenes and hotspots you get before paying.
- Viewers — panoramas, tours, 360° video and 3D/AR models.
- Where it works — block editor, Elementor and shortcodes.
- What Pro costs — list prices for a single site.
- What each one is uniquely good at — including where they beat Photo Sphere Viewer.
We left out install counts and star ratings: they change weekly and say little about whether a plugin fits your project.

Photo Sphere Viewer — best for unlimited free tours and AR
Photo Sphere Viewer puts four viewers in one plugin: 360° panoramas, multi-scene virtual tours, 360° video and AR-ready 3D models. The free version has no limit on panoramas, tours or scenes per tour, so a twelve-room house or a whole campus costs nothing to publish. It also includes up to five info hotspots per panorama, auto-rotation, gyroscope viewing on phones, 360° video autoplay and loop, and HDR lighting for 3D models — with no watermark.
Pick it if:
- Your tours have more than five or six scenes and you don't want to pay just to add rooms.
- You also want to show a product as a 3D model with an AR button, without installing a second plugin.
- You build with Elementor and want dedicated widgets for each viewer, or with the block editor — the 360° Virtual Tour block lets you place each arrow by clicking on the doorway in the photo — or with shortcodes anywhere else.
- You shoot large drone panoramas — Pro loads your original upload instead of WordPress's 2560px
-scaled.jpgcopy, per viewer. - You want the lowest Pro price: $19.99 a year or $59.99 lifetime for one site, with a 30-day money-back guarantee.
What Pro adds: unlimited info hotspots with a photo in each panel; the scene gallery bar and compass for tours; full-resolution original loading; the panorama gallery, move buttons and description panel; restricted viewing angles; camera orbit and gesture locks for 3D models; and priority email support.
Where it falls short: info hotspots sit on single panoramas rather than inside tour scenes, free hotspot panels hold text and a link (photos are Pro, where WPVR's free hotspots can show images and video), and there's no floor plan, background audio, password protection or VR headset mode.
WPVR — best if you need floor plans and free info hotspots
WPVR by RexTheme is the most established tour builder. Its free version includes info hotspots with text, images, video and links, auto-rotation, 360° video (including YouTube and Vimeo) and password-protected tours, but caps each tour at 5 scenes with 5 hotspots per scene.
Pick it if: you need a clickable floor plan, background audio, VR headset mode, tour analytics or WooCommerce add-to-cart hotspots — all Pro — or you build in Divi or Oxygen, which WPVR supports directly.
Watch out for: Pro list prices of $99.99 a year (Starter, 1 site), $199.99 (10 sites) and $399.99 (unlimited), or $249.99+ lifetime. RexTheme often discounts them by 30%. Gyroscope viewing, unlimited scenes and the scene gallery are Pro — gyroscope is free in Photo Sphere Viewer. See our full Photo Sphere Viewer vs WPVR comparison.
iPanorama 360 — best for a single, highly styled tour
iPanorama 360 Lite by Avirtum includes nearly every feature of its paid version — markers, tooltips, popovers, five scene types including little planet and Google Street View, gyroscope, background audio and role-based permissions — with one limit: you can create only one tour.
Pick it if: you need exactly one tour with heavy visual styling, or you need to control which WordPress roles can edit tours.
Watch out for: a second tour requires the Pro version, sold as a one-time purchase on CodeCanyon. The developer's readme now promotes HappyVR, a new successor plugin, which is worth weighing for a long-term project.
Panorama by bPlugins — best for WooCommerce 360° product views
Panorama by bPlugins offers eight blocks covering 360° images, 3D images, video, 360° video, Google Street View, galleries, tours and "product spots". Its free version allows 6 scenes per tour with 6 hotspots each, gyroscope viewing, cubemap images and a 7-day analytics overview.
Pick it if: you sell on WooCommerce and want a ready-made "360° View" tab on product pages, or you want built-in view analytics.
Watch out for: Elementor support works through Elementor's shortcode widget rather than native widgets, and unlimited scenes and hotspots need Pro.
Which plugin should you choose?

| The cheapest Pro upgrade | Photo Sphere Viewer ($19.99/yr, $59.99 lifetime) |
| Free gyroscope viewing on phones | Photo Sphere Viewer |
| Free hotspots with images or video inside a small tour | WPVR |
| A clickable floor plan, audio or VR headset mode | WPVR Pro |
| One heavily styled tour, free | iPanorama 360 Lite |
| A WooCommerce "360° View" product tab | Panorama by bPlugins |
For most sites — real estate listings, hotels, venues, campuses and stores — the deciding factor is the number of rooms. A five-room apartment fits any free plan. Anything bigger is free only in Photo Sphere Viewer, and its Pro version costs a fraction of the alternatives when you want unlimited hotspots with photos, the scene gallery and full-resolution drone panoramas.
How to try Photo Sphere Viewer
- Try it without installing: click Live Preview on the WordPress.org plugin page to open a working panorama and tour in your browser.
- Install and activate it, then add the 360° Panorama or 360° Virtual Tour block, an Elementor widget, or a shortcode from the Shortcode Builder.
- For a tour, pick your scene photos, click Place arrow on each doorway, and set each scene's starting view.
- When you need unlimited hotspots with photos, the scene gallery or full-resolution originals, compare the Pro plans.
